Blink Gallery of Contemporary Art and Design is located in the Catskill Mountains in the historic hamlet of Andes, NY. We are 150 miles northwest of New York City on route 28, midway between the towns of Margaretville and Delhi, in Delaware County. As you head west along route 28, you pass the historic towns of Woodstock, Phoenicia, Fleischmanns and Margaretville, arriving in Andes. When you reach the blinking light on route 28, you’ve arrived at our gallery.
Blink is dedicated to exhibiting painting, pastels, collages, sculpture, ceramics, art glass, and jewelry. Our art jewelry features one of a kind hand crafted pieces with special emphasis on our unique Sumaris line.
Blink, founded in 2004, was the first art gallery to open in Andes. As of spring 2005, Andes is also home to the Chace Randall gallery. There are also several antiques and collectible shops which afford the visitor opportunities for exploration. The Andes Hotel provides lodging and runs many summer events. Dining opportunities include the Andes Hotel Restaurant, Slow Down Cafe, and Cantina, a Mexican restaurant, owned and operated by the founder of Radio Mexico in New York City. Andes affords easy access to the ski centers at Bobcat and Belleayre as well Plattekill near Roxbury.
